At Little Fig Studio, every space is designed with intention to create rooms that feel as good as they look
about me
Tessa Fiedler, Founder & Designer
Designing kids' rooms in New York City comes with its own set of challenges: small spaces, specific visions, and an overwhelming amount of decisions to make.
Little Fig was born out of my own experience designing my daughter's nursery in NYC. I know firsthand what works, what doesn't, and all the little details that only reveal themselves once you're actually living in the space. That holistic view is something I bring to every project.
My approach is hands-on and collaborative, creating spaces that feel elevated and beautiful without losing sight of what actually makes a room work for real family life.
Based in New York City, working with families in-person and virtually.
work with me
-
The room where it all begins. Together we'll design a nursery that's warm, functional, and full of personality - a beautifully intentional space that works as hard as it looks good, even in the tightest New York City square footage.
-
I design rooms that grow with your child - with room for play, space for quiet, and a design that feels thoughtfully elevated.
-
Playrooms should be joyful, but they shouldn't be chaos. I design rooms that support how children actually play, with thoughtful layouts, smart storage, and flexible spaces that evolve with them, all wrapped in a design that feels as elevated as the rest of your home.
